Allie Hallmark joined Slates Harwell as an Associate in 2019.  Although a Texas native, Allie began her legal career in Philadelphia, where she gained extensive experience representing general contractors, subcontractors, and owners in construction and employment cases.  After practicing law in the Northeast, Allie has a unique perspective and a wide range of knowledge regarding the variations in construction law that affect clients who work across multiple states.

Allie represents her clients in all stages of construction litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including payment disputes, mechanics’ lien and bond claims, delays, and construction defect claims.  Allie also advises her clients before and during projects to negotiate favorable contract terms, resolve project-related disputes as they arise, and preserve the client’s legal rights.  Due to her reputation as a diligent and effective litigator, Allie was named a Pennsylvania Rising Star from 2016 to 2019.  She is excited to bring her experience and client-centered practice back to Texas.

Allie earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Texas and her law degree from Texas Tech School of Law.  While at Tech Law, she competed in numerous national advocacy competitions and, as a result, was inducted into the National Order of Barristers.

Outside the office, Allie enjoys (indoor) rock climbing, watching basketball, and exploring the many neighborhoods and restaurants in the Metroplex.  Allie lives in Oak Cliff with her husband, Alex, and their vivacious toddler, Lana.
