Mr. Mira’s years of experience extends to representing general contractors and subcontractors in litigation regarding contract disputes, lien issues, disputes with owners for payment, and construction defect issues. He has represented contractors and subcontractors in the pre-contract negotiation stage through the bidding process and through the project management process where change orders and scheduling issues have occurred.

Highlight of Representative Experience:

  • Successfully represented a subcontractor in a 3-week trial in Tarrant County regarding construction defects, securing a defense verdict for the subcontractor and counter claims against the general contractor for amounts owed
  • Successfully represented a general contractor in Dallas county in securing a summary judgment for the general contractor against all claims for apartment complexes constructed in McLennan county
  • Successfully represented a subcontractor on an international project in the international chamber of commerce in a one week trial in Paris, France, securing a verdict for the subcontractor against the general contractor
  • Successfully secured a summary judgment for an owner against claims asserted by subcontractor for repairs on a multi-family project in North Texas
  • Successfully represented a general contractor for claims asserted by an owner for the construction of a clean room in North Texas
  • Successfully represented a general contractor against lien claims against a subcontractor for defective concrete in a governmental facility
  • Successfully represented a balcony subcontractor against construction defect claims for a condominium project in Rockwall County, Texas
  • Representation of numerous general contractors and subcontractors in contract negotiations negotiating terms and conditions for contract agreements with parties
  • Representation of numerous general contractors and subcontractors in mechanics liens issues regarding the enforcement and defense of same
